The stunt coordination and temp VFX show how to map out a scene
Philip J. Silvera, the supervising stunt coordinator on Terminator: Dark Fate, shared a stuntviz reel showing stunt performers acting out the final turbine fight from the film.
If you don’t have access to the Dark Fate DVD/Blu-ray that includes this reel in its features, then you can Silvera’s Vimeo page here.
The temp VFX work on this stuntviz reel was by Christopher Clements from FXitinPost.
The stuntviz reel is such a great combination of temp VFX with the stunt coordination, giving would-be filmmakers and VFX supervisors a look at how effects heavy action sequences are brought to life with a combination of real-life stunts and computer imagery.
Gun-shots, liquid metal splashes and weaponry help show the intensity of the sequence.
