Jeremy Bulloch: Original Boba Fett Actor Dies At 75

Another Star Wars icon has left us. Jeremy Bulloch, the most famous actor to never show his face, has died at age 75. The British actor is, of course, best known as Boba Fett in the original trilogy. He might have only had a few lines, but his character clad in the coolest outfit next to Darth Vader, was forever immortalized.

The news of Bulloch’s passing was first reported by Daniel Logan, who played the young Boba Fett in the Star Wars prequels. On his Instagram, Logan wrote “conventions won’t be the same” without the original Fett. The news of Bulloch’s death comes just days after the bounty hunter made his return to the Star Wars universe in an episode of The Mandalorian, this time in the guise of Temuera Morrison. While Morrison’s casting connects The Mandalorian with the clones in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, one can’t help but wish that Bulloch got to chance to flesh out the character he made famous in future films or television series.

Alas, it wasn’t to be. Nonetheless, its still a great legacy that Boba Fett continues on in The Mandalorian and (UPDATE) in the new, dedicated Fett TV series, The Book of Boba Fett.
